DESCRIPTION:Gregory Lane Bezer\nMay 3, 1945-October 31, 2024\nIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Greg on October 31st, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.  Greg is survived by his devoted and loving wife Brenda and his children, Kathy (Greg) and David. Cherished Papa to Gabby, Max and Rae-Anna of whom he was immensely proud.\nGreg was born in Sydney, Australia to Edward and Jean (Shambler) Bezer. He immigrated to Canada in 1966 and leaves behind his Australian siblings Ian (Margaret), Roz and David (Noi) as well as his nieces and nephews.\nAs both a parent and grandparent, Greg was an active man who spent many years volunteering as a coach for soccer, hockey, swimming and baseball. He was also a proud member of the Ajax Kinsmen Club. He was also a long time employee of Unileaver Canada, retiring in 2011. Greg certainly enjoyed spending his free time golfing and was passionate about giving back to his community. We will remember Greg as a man who has a keen sense of humour and always brought a smile to people’s faces.\nGreg lays in rest at McEachnie Funeral Home in Ajax. Visitation will be on November 11, 2024, from 3-5 pm followed by a memorial service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Lakeridge Health Cancer Center.\n \n\n
