SUMMARY:Jean Marilyn Wilson
DESCRIPTION:In Loving Memory\n\n \nJean Marilyn Wilson was born in Portland, Jamaica, to Owen Wilson and Ionie Whyte on March 9, 1958. Affectionately known as Mom, Grandma, Paulette, Auntie Jean, or Sister Jean, she was deeply loved by her family and friends. On March 30, 2026, she went home to be with her Saviour.\nThose who knew Jean will always remember her as a generous, loving, and gentle soul. She carried herself with grace and kindness, and no matter what was happening, her calm presence could settle any room. Her love was felt by everyone she met. She was someone you could always rely on—simply because she cared. Her love for the Lord was unquestionable and evident in the way she lived her life. Jean was a true prayer warrior. She lived her faith daily, lifting up family, friends, and even strangers in prayer. In times of trouble and in times of joy, she turned to prayer trusting God wholeheartedly. Jean was an industrious woman with many talents. After moving to Canada in 2005, she worked for many years as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) at Chartwell Retirement Residence and Shepherd Village. Even after retiring in 2023, she never stopped giving of herself wherever she was needed.\nShe also had a special gift in the kitchen. Jean made the most delicious meals and could always be counted on when a good Jamaican meal was needed. Her cooking was truly unmatched and made with love.\nHer gracious spirit will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son Delroy, her daughter Dahema, her grandchildren— Odell, Kenroy, Jovanni, Makalia, and Deshauna—as well as her sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, church community, and all who knew and loved her.\nRest in eternal peace, Sister Jean, mom, and grandma. Heaven has gained another angel.\n \nTechnical Difficulties Disclaimer:\n*In the event of technical difficulties, kindly refresh the webpage.
