Angel Marqueses Gonzales

Angel Marqueses Gonzales passed away on February 6, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 83.

Beloved father of Angelo (Grace), Wilhelm (Judy), Lynn (Aaron).

Proud grandfather to Alex, Chris, Jillian, Katryna, Brett and Olivia.

Beloved son of the late Rosendo Gonzales, who was a soldier in WW2 and was killed in action while serving his country between 1942-1945 and Arcadia Marqueses who passed away in 1978.

Angel, or ” Mark” as he liked to be called, was an excellent cook. He made the most wonderful Filipino food and Italian dishes, which he always shared with family and friends. Mark was also an avid sports fan, his favorite team was the Blue Jays. He was also a skilled fisherman. He loved catching carp but his favorite fish to catch and cook was walley. He loved barbequing in the summer. Mark was mostly fond of spending time with family at parties and BBQ’s. Mark was an ER nurse for over 33 years and was always focused on providing for his family.

Mark will be greatly missed by his large extended family and many friends.

A visitation in Angel Marqueses Gonzales memory will be held on Saturday February 15, 2025 at McEachnie Funeral Home in Ajax from 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm. There will be dinner reception to follow after the Funeral service.

In Lieu of flowers, donations to Grandview Kids Canada will be greatly appreciated by the family. Kids with special needs were always near and dear to Angel’s heart.
