Augustina Nurse
In Loving Memory
Augustina Nurse, affectionately known as Jestine, was born in Soufriere, St. Lucia on September 09, 1952. She migrated to Barbados at the age of 11 where she later met and married the love of her life in 1977.
In that same year Augustina and Clarence adopted Karian, who held the status of first child for many years. After migrating to Canada in 1980. Emile and Troy were born and her family of five was complete.
Augustina attracted friends from all walks of life who valued her counsel and conversation. She was always forthright in her approach and her friends appreciated that.
Family was everything to Augustina. No matter how she was feeling none of that mattered when her children and grandchildren showed up. She knew a great grandchild is on the way. Family gatherings were the occasions she looked forward to most. The joy she experienced was palpable.
As a woman of faith, she left a legacy that will inspire generations. Her love and devotion were deeply rooted in her relationship with God. May she rest as her spirit lives within us.

INTERMENT: Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, 541 Taunton Road W, Ajax ON
