Beaulah Beckles

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beaulah (Maude) Esternise Beckles. Beaulah passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her niece Miriam and nephew Maurice at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Beaulah is now reunited with her many predeceased loved ones, including her parents, Montelle Beckles and Lamont Campbell, her beloved brothers, Felix (lawyer) and Julian Beckles.

She is survived by sister-in-law Velda Beckles. Beaulah will forever watch over her cherished niece, Miriam Beckles, and her nephews, Maurice Taylor and Michael Rochester. She also leaves behind her longtime friend, Anita Smith, who will miss her dearly. She is remembered by her sisters, Pauline, Doreen, Yvonne and Harriett.

Beaulah found her greatest joy in reading, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. She was a charismatic soul with a sharp wit and an unforgettable sense of humour that could light up any room. She had a remarkable gift for connecting with others and bringing laughter to everyone around her.

Beaulah lived a life filled with love, kindness, laughter, and grace. Her warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, Ontario L1T 2Z7, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul on the Hill Anglican Church, Pickering, Ontario.
