Carmen Banton

In Loving Memory

Sunrise – June 1, 1957
Sunset – February 2, 2026

Born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, Carmen immigrated to Canada where she pursued her passion for healthcare, completing her nursing education with honours.

A compassionate and dedicated caregiver, Carmen served as a nurse at North York General Hospital for over twenty years. Her kindness, expertise, and unwavering commitment to her patients left a mark on all those who worked alongside her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Wayne, and her stepchildren, Monique, Alexia and Alexandra. She was predeceased by her beloved stepson, Dwayne. Carmen will be deeply missed by her nine siblings, her many nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends. Her life was defined by her service to others and the deep, lasting bonds she shared with those she loved.
