In Loving Memory
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family of the late Thomas David Monan annouce his sudden passing on Friday, May 22nd, 2026 at the Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering Hospital.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Theresa of almost 50 years; daughter Andrea (Totis) and son Ryan (Ja-yeon). He was the beloved Grandpa to Alannah and Braden; and beloved Papa to Xavier and Carina. He also leaves behind sisters Kay Blake, Heather Sirman (Brian), Debbie Monan; sister-in-laws Shelley Monan, Patricia Mason (Vern) and Arlene LeBlanc; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Joan Monan; Sisters Jane Crawley and Christine Corbett; brother Victor Monan; brothers-in-law Abe Blake, Ken Crawley, Sheldon Sheppard, Charlie Corbett and Larry LeBlanc.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at the ICU unit. Your compassion and kindness was truly appreciated.
Your wings were ready but our hearts were not.

Friends and family may visit at McEachnie Funeral Home 28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T 2Z7, on Monday, June 1, 2026 from 10am to 11:30am with a service to follow in their chapel. Internment at Christ The King Cemetery 7770 Steeles Ave E, Markham, ON L6B 1A8. Reception to follow.
