In Loving Memory

Dearly loved Donald Benjamin James also known as Danny, Dan and Bingie passed away on December 1, 2024 at John Nobel Home in Brantford Ontario Canada where he was cared for over the past year.

His passing occurred peacefully after a day filled with tremendous love, prayer and support from his children, siblings, grandchildren, friends, pastoral care, and nursing staff. Danny was born on December 4 1950 and passed away 3 days shy of his 74th Birthday. He immigrated to Canada in 1974 and was a carpenter by trade and a licensed Plumber for over 30 years. He retired as a stellar employee from Armstrong Baum in 2015 and began his life long goal and amazing retirement journey at the house he loved, and built with his own hands in St. Elizabeth Jamaica.

Danny was born in Kingston Jamaica to the parents of late Joseph James and Lucille Ledford and was raised by his God fearing surrogate mother the late Catherine Reece.

He sadly leaves behind cherished children Annjean, Rohan, Amelia, Dori, two adopted daughters in Jamaica, Grand Children Jahmeel, Aleeyah, Tahmia, Savana, Danielle, Jacob, Brandon, Adrian, and a host of remarkable brothers, sisters, niece’s, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dearly loved friends. His passion for family, friends, music and dominos surpasses none. His drive for excellence in his work and all that he set his mind to was exceptional.
