Edna McCann

We are saddened to announce the passing of Edna McCann, “the Nana” on November 11, 2025.

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on September 11, 1940 to parents Kathleen and Harry McCall. Edna met and married her sweetheart Tommy, at the tender age of 18 and together they had 2 children. The family emigrated to Toronto in 1968 and began a new life in Canada.

Loving Mother to Paul McCann and Mandy Glen. Beloved Nana to Chris McCann, Corey McCann, Caitlyn McCann, Connor Glen, Kelsey Glen, Taylor Glen and Lisa Kerr. Cherished Great Nana to Eibhlyn Madden, Callen Hebner, Lennon Gurr, McKenna Mackie, Saoirse McCann, Max Kent, Lily Kent and Piper Kent. We take comfort knowing she is now reunited with her husband Thomas McCann, son Paul McCann, Grandson Corey McCann and sister Kathleen Maskey. She will be greatly missed by her brothers Jim and wife Nora McCall, Harry McCall, sister Lena Gilroy, daughter in law Jaynee McCann, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oak Ridges Hospice, Port Perry would be greatly appreciated.
