In Loving Memory of Esmond Satnarine Sookram

Esmond was a man of quiet strength, deep love, and lifelong dedication to his family. Born in Tabaquite, Trinidad, he began teaching as a teenager and went on to become a respected elementary school principal.
Later in life, he made Canada his home, continuing to lead with wisdom and care in everything he did.
He was the husband of the late Stella. Father of Junior (Angela), Dawne, Clyde (dec.) (Joy), and Burt (Irma, dec.). Grandfather to Ian, Kevin, Aaron, Tyler, and Keeley. A very proud great grandfather to Ethan and Adrian.
Whether in the classroom, camping, at a family gathering, or by the water on a peaceful fishing trip, Esmond offered guidance, love, and comfort to all who knew him.
Rooted in his Catholic faith and driven by love for his family, his presence was a blessing—and his legacy lives on in the many lives he touched.
