It is with heavy hearts and deep affection that we announce the passing of Fitzalbert Ranger, who left us on April 22, 2025.
Fitz was the son of Lucille Cargill and Simeon Ranger, a father, brother, uncle and grandfather, great-grandfather and a wonderful friend. He was born in McCooks, Spanish Town, St. Catherine’s, Jamaica on February 7, 1941. In his youth he embarked upon a courageous journey to Canada, bringing with him dreams, determination, and a heart full of love. A skilled welder, he forged not only metal but also strong bonds with those around him. His kindness, quiet way and care touched many lives, and his legacy will continue to inspire us. Let us remember him for his warmth, his generosity, and the joy he brought into our lives. Fitz will be sadly missed.”
