John Michael Kwak
1952 – 2025

At the family residence on Sunday January 19th, 2025.

John Michael Kwak in his 73rd year. Loving father of Matthew.

Remembered by Marie-Helene.

Loving eldest son of the late Dr. John and Vera Kwak of Oshawa.

Dear brother of Randy (Irena), Janice (Phil Frampton), Nancy (Tim Ellis).

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

John was a multilingual translator and a much-praised teacher at the University of Toronto in the School of Continuing Studies.

A memorial mass will be held at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, 411 Olive Avenue, Oshawa. On Saturday February 1st at 11 AM.

Flowers or donations to the Lung Cancer Foundation, or the Ukranian Relief Fund would be appreciated.
