June Audrey Simon

It is with deep sadness that the family of June Audrey Simon (née Rowe) announces her passing on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on June 14, 1952, in Essequibo, Guyana, June was the beloved daughter of the late Cefred Lemuel Rowe and Clarice Eugene Rowe (née Dover). She will be forever cherished and remembered by her brothers Colin, Hugh, and Cefred, her sisters Megnon Ault, Jennifer St. Aubyn and Beverley Jones and their families.

June immigrated to Canada in 1975 to join her mother and siblings. Before settling here, she worked with the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) in Guyana. In Canada, she built a distinguished career with the Toronto Transit Commission, dedicating over thirty-six years of service and retiring in 2017 as Supervisor of Claims.
