It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Laura Mahoney on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Laura passed at the age of 56 after her courageous battle with cancer.
Cherished mother to Jarrett (father Darren Mahoney), loving daughter to Mary (Nicholson) and Larry Penton. Beloved sister to Nancy (David) Campbell and Susan King, and adoring aunt to Liam Campbell, Jocelyn Campbell, Evan King and Calvin King. Laura will be greatly missed by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Scarborough Health Network Centenary Hospital or the Marigold Hospice Clarington would be appreciated.

I was so honoured to work with Laura for about 5 years at the SHN – Centenary site – I remember her as an excellent physio – great team player with a lovely infectious giggle – She will be much missed!
