Lisa Jane Shearn

October 18, 1977- December 10, 2025

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Lisa, who courageously faced her battle with cancer with unmatched strength, grace, and dignity. Throughout her life, she exemplified selflessness, always putting the needs and happiness of others before her own. Her resilience, compassion, and unwavering love have left a lasting imprint on the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

A devoted lover of animals, Lisa shared a special bond with her beloved Charleigh, Gracey, and JJ, whose companionship brought her immeasurable joy and comfort. She was also passionate about baseball, a sport that reflected her spirited nature and love for life’s simple pleasures, and one she delighted in sharing with her family and friends.

Lisa is survived by her loving parents, Lenny and Diana Shearn, her devoted in-laws, Claude and Luella Spurrell, her husband, Jason, and her cherished children, Tyler and Trinity. She is also survived by her siblings, brother Tony (Maureen) and sister Lesley (David) and sister-in-law
Marlene, as well as her nieces Debbie, Missi, Ashley, Samantha, and Choy, and her nephews Donny and Venz, all of whom were touched by her boundless love and generosity.

Her life was a testament to courage, strength, and selflessness. She had a remarkable ability to light up a room, to make those around her feel seen and valued, and to create moments of joy and connection that will never be forgotten. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit, her laughter, and the love she freely gave will remain with us always.

In remembering Lisa, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, love, and a rare, inspiring strength. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, courage, and joy that will continue to resonate in the lives of all who were blessed to know her. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax) on Tuesday December 16, 2025 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Funeral Service to follow at 1p.m. in the Chapel.

Following the Funeral Service, the interment will take place at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Research Society would be greatly appreciated.
