Mary Patricia Johnston (Patsy), nee Brammeld, age 81, born December 12, 1944 –August 12, 2026. Mary passed away at AgeCare-Samac, surrounded by her family. Mary was born to Philip and Ellen Brammeld in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She was a devoted wife, mother, Grand-mother and friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Mary emigrated to Canada with her beloved husband Jim on March 30, 1971, where together they built their new life. She always had Ireland in her heart with thoughts for her extended family back home. She operated a school bus for many years and enjoyed seeing the children every day. She loved a good game of Bingo with her good friend Isobel and loved shopping. She enjoyed sixties music, particularly the songs of Roy Orbison. She will be deeply missed and remembered by her husband Jim and their children, Graham (Lee) and Karen (Mack), along with her cherished grandchildren, Keegan, Tavish, Sorcha, Presley, Brock and Camden, whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her beloved son Jim. Patsy also loved spending hours on the phone with her best Lily Steenson. She will be missed by her relatives in Ireland. Brother Frank, Philomena, Patricia & Ann Marie and all the Brammeld’s and all the Donnelly’s and all her loved ones in Ireland.

My beautiful , exciting aunt Patsy , you just went for it when you wanyed something , I found you so exciting to be around when we got a very welcomed visit from you and Jim and the kids. And you were so lovely to know Patsy . A big void in the world now youre gone bless. But I feel your peace now , with God and the Angels , and one day we will be togetber properly , in heaven , all togetber . Untiil then Patsy, look after us all with God and the Angels.
