In Loving Memory

05-Apr-1941 – 16-Apr-2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our cherished Inang Naty, at home in Ajax, Ontario, surrounded by loving family.

Her memory will be treasured by Amang Angel – her adoring husband of 67 years – and her children Noel, Danny, Nellie, Nieves and their spouses. She is dearly missed by sisters Nina, Anita and Myrna. Her unconditional love will live on in the hearts of her grandchildren Camille, Dana, Precious, Angelo, Christian, Nathan, Keon and Hayleigh, great-grandson Liam, and her nieces, nephews and friends.

A devoted follower of Christ, she has entered into the presence of the Lord to be reunited with her father Tomas, mother Olympia, sisters Hilda and Jovita, nephew Melchor and granddaughter Lovely.

Born April 5, 1941, in Urdaneta City, Philippines, she studied at Urdaneta Community High School before marrying Angel on April 28,1958. Angel and Naty build their home and raised their children in Urdaneta until they decided to travel together to the UK in 1976, doing various work in the hospitality and the national health service for 6 years and spending 23 years working for the Most family in London. In 2005, they retired and settled in Toronto, where they supported their daughter Nellie and son-in-law Jimmy as they raised their sons Christian and Nathan.

Naty loved ballroom dancing – particularly the tango and cha-cha – and Filipino folk dancing. She was an excellent homemaker and was diligent in the care of her loved ones. Although soft-spoken, she met a lot of people and made friends through her involvement in the Tupperware business in the early 70s.Though sadly departed, her memory will endure as a compassionate, selfless woman whose life was dedicated to the service of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, generosity and everlasting love.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff of Ajax Pickering Lakeridge Hospital and Krista Ashik from InspiAir for the compassionate care they provided, and to close family friends Jeanette and EJ for their unwavering support. Thanks also to the congregation of Word Toronto, headed by Pastors Ramon and Lina Solidum, for the spiritual and practical help during these difficult times.
