Ruby Patricia Turner

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend Ruby Patricia Turner (nee Patrickson) after a long illness.

She is survived by her 7 children, Tony (Barbara), Sharon, Trevor (Sharon), Tana, Kathy (Grenville), Stephanie, and Christopher, 13 grandchildren (Gabrielle, Melissa, Allison, Ashley, Brooke, Cierra, Brandon, Britney, Maisha, Justin, Stephen, Ethan and Emily), 6 great grandchildren, sisters Reita and Maureen, brothers Clynton, Gerald, Lester, and Trevor and many nieces and nephews.

She is now reunited with her beloved mother Evelyn, father Orel, and brothers Adrian (Alwyn), Curtis and Patrick.

Patricia was a nurse and devoted her life to caring for her patients and her family. She always had advice or an herbal remedy for whatever ailed you. She loved to cook for her family and host holiday dinners, and especially loved to have her grandchildren and great grandchildren around her. She loved her garden and to feed and watch the birds and stray cats.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at McEachnie Funeral Home in Ajax. Visitation will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.

You may also wish to join us for the reception to celebrate her life and share your favourite memories with family from 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm in the Party Room (Ground floor) at 22 East Haven Drive, Scarborough.

Interment will occur on Patricia’s birthday, April 26th at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens, 341 Taunton Road West.
