Rudolph Ponceford Lewis
In Loving Memory
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear Husband, Father, Grandfather and Uncle, he passed peacefully at the age of 93.
Leaving to mourn wife of 63 years Myrna Lewis, son Valentino, daughter-in-law Lori, grandchildren Jesse and Nichelle Lewis and great grandchild Ryland.
Rudolph is predeceased by 6 siblings and a special grandchild Spencer.
Rudolph was born in Barbados West Indies; he moved to Canada in 1975 with his family, once settled in Toronto, he went to work for Nestle where he started his employment history and was very devoted to his work. He also dedicated himself to becoming the Union representative for the Nestle workers, up to and beyond his retirement.
Rudolph was an avid sportsman, Soccer was his passion both as a player and a coach, where he became the coach of the Wexford soccer team in Scarborough.
In dedication to his belief in the Advent Message, Rudolf demonstrated his strong faith on a daily basis as a member of the Latterain/Mount Gilead Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was a gentle and kind man who enjoyed conversation.
