Sheldon Christopher Griffith

Sheldon Christopher Griffith passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the age of 59, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on May 22, 1967 in Trinidad and Tobago to Christopher and Ena Griffith, Sheldon lived a life full of purpose, strength, and deep devotion to those he loved and cherished. Throughout his life, he developed many interests, including gardening, bike riding, college football, and the field of skilled trades. These interests brought him immense joy and defined many of his favorite days.

In 1996, he founded Technical Air Systems Inc., a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) business he nurtured and led with pride. In 2026, he celebrated its 30-year milestone, honouring the legacy he built. Beyond his professional achievements, he was known for his strong work ethic, loyalty, steady wisdom, and humorous personality. There is no doubt that he left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

He was the beloved husband of Debra for 22 years and had known each other for 40 years. He was the cherished father of Jelisa, Jeniece, and Jillian. He was a caring brother to Hazel (Pascal), Annette (Julius), Merlin, Michael (Joan), Marieann (Nulton), and Brian. Sheldon was predeceased by his mother, Ena Griffith, who passed away on October 6, 2017. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends. Though he is no longer with us physically, his legacy of love, integrity, and warmth will live in our hearts forever.

Visitation will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, on Thursday, October 1, and Friday, October 2, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. each day.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel at McEachnie Funeral Home on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
